Responsibilities: Candidate will be responsible for the use of general hand tools to perform light repair and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facilities. Will be responsible for general housekeeping of shop, work bench area and equipment. Will plan, layout and perform bench and machine operations to construct, alter and repair intricately designed and constructed tools, dies, fixtures, jigs, gauges and machine attachments. Will be responsible for general maintenance of machine shop machines/EDM machines and the housekeeping of the shop to ensure a clean, organized and safe environment. This includes the entire shop, work benches, parts, raw materials and parts area. Requirements: To qualify, you need high school diploma and two years Technical School Associate Degree in Machine Tool Technology. You must have the ability to comprehend written documentation, engineered drawings and use precision measuring instruments and ability to use hand held tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, and basic tool shop machines (mill, lathe, surface grinder, etc.).
