The Commercial, Civil, and Strategic Space Department is seeking a System Test Lead for a prime-level government satellite program. The scope of this work encompasses all segments (ground, space, launch) of the satellite system. In this role, the System Test Lead will take ownership of test plan development for the system, including tests for the interfaces among the different segments. The individual will generate and document test cases and procedures, and will oversee the generation of needed test scripts.
The program management and Chief Engineer will rely on the System Test Lead to provide technical leadership for system test to the entire program, including customers, suppliers, and all stakeholders. The nature of this work requires frequent interaction with organizations outside of Raytheon Technologies. The candidate will be organized, have strong technical skills, and outstanding communication skills.

10+ years prior relevant experience
Experience leading test activities for a satellite system, including:
- Tests for interfaces
- Development of test procedures
- Generation and/or oversight of test script development
Demonstrated experience interfacing with subcontractors
Experience with a dynamic collaborative environment including multi-functional and cross-site teams
Demonstrated strong organization, coordination, planning, and team building skills
Comfortable working in a fast paced and dynamic multi-disciplinary environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong social skills, and ability to build consensus
Ability to build strong relationships with program internal and external customers
Capable of effectively working in a team environment, often under tight deadlines
Demonstrated desire to successfully pursue new challenges, improve and broaden technical skills, seek greater responsibilities, and increase individual value to the organization
U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position requires the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance within one year of hire
Experience with SEIT tools such as STK, MATLAB, C++, and Python
Experience supporting system level assembly, integration, and test (AI&T), including identifying necessary test equipment
Prior Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL) or line engineering management experience
Knowledge of US Export/Import law in regards to space technologies
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Sciences, Math, or related STEM discipline
Master's degree in Engineering, Sciences, Math, or related STEM discipline
