As the Sr. Director of Analytics and Medical Economics for Truli for Health, this individual is accountable for achieving the operating results and strategic objectives by providing sound financial forecasting, analytics and medical economics leadership support for the GuideWell Health Plans (GWHP) and Truli for Health (TfH). This role assumes primary responsibility for driving effective P&L processes and monitoring key performance indicators that enable strategic, data driven decisions that support profitable growth and continued expansion in terms of geography and segments. This role provides critical oversight to business performance, variance identification, corrective action tracking, and ongoing priority setting to achieve GWHP & TfH's growth and expansion goals.

This individual will recruit, train, mentor and manage a small staff as analysts from entry level to manager positions.

Job duties include but are not limited to:
Leads the organization, coordination, implementation, and communication of the comprehensive strategic and financial performance review / analysis processes as well as the forecasting and budgeting process for GWHP & TfH to ensure strategic goals and objectives are attained
Leads the implementation of the GWHP DataMart, data access platform / packaged analytics vendor integration, and the operationalization of the Truli for Health Value Based provider contracts.
Partners with Commercial Analytics, Truli leadership, Network Contracting, and other GuideWell leaders to communicate Truli's market entry approach to external Hospital and physician executives, including Truli's value proposition, financial model economics of the venture, and assessing whether unit cost concessions are required to meet target premium position.
Develops and effectively communicates complex data, trends, financial models, recommendations and reports to a wide range of audiences including Enterprise leadership to gain alignment and support planning and decision making
Development of, and in coordination with other Commercial Analytics leaders to develop, analytics and analytics tools/products and key business findings to help drive medical management results within the Care, Network, and Medical Cost Management functional areas.
Development, analysis and management of various value-based contracting models and performance analytics that supports Truli products that are built around high performance networks
Serves as key senior leader of GWHP & TfH and represents the business unit in support of the Enterprise's vision and values.

Job Requirements:
Related Bachelor's degree in finance, business or related field, or equivalent additional work experience
7+ years' related work experience
Knowledge of, and experience in healthcare and health insurance industry
Strong leadership/influencing skills with the ability to work effectively within a complex system, influence others, and drive results
Ability to work in a complex matrix reporting environment; ability to establish, cultivate and build strong professional relationships with leadership teams
Strong verbal and written communication skills with superior organization, planning skills, and business acumen
Exceptional strategic thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and drive business opportunities forward
