About the role Roku's Network and Infrastructure Security organization is looking for a highly motivated senior-level Infrastructure Security DevOps Engineer. If you are well-versed in infrastructure security, apply your skills on a scale of petabytes and millions of custom metric data-points per second. The successful candidate is expected to be hands-on and execute on technical initiatives focused on continuously improving the security posture of Roku's infrastructure to provide a resilient and secure foundation to build Roku products and services. With the NIST Cybersecurity Framework backdrop, you will help design, deploy and mature our cybersecurity policies, practices and KPIs for our emerging Zero Trust Architecture and Secure Access Service Edge technologies. You will work quickly to understand business priorities, develop and communicate a plan, prioritize appropriately, and deliver commitments on time. You will be results-oriented, focusing on achieving critical goals as agreed and identifying when an effort is not on target. You can collaborate with colleagues across functions to solve problems and design solutions and are comfortable in a dynamic and highly entrepreneurial environment. What you'll be doing Be an advocate for fusing security into DevOps processes working with our various DevOps teams on application security. Assess, design, implement and troubleshoot Roku's Zero Trust Architecture and SASE services Define best practices back to front-line support through training and mentoring based on escalations to you. Lead enterprise-wide standardization efforts around infrastructure security across all global regions, monitoring and alerting, and plotting growth in support of our Zero Trust Architecture philosophy based on NIST SP 800-207 Build automation for the data and control planes. For example: infrastructure deployments or hooking logs into the SIEM We're excited if you have This is an individual contributor role, so requires solution design/architecture experience, as well as the hands-on experience to implement these solutions. 7+ years of hands-on experience, securing cloud technologies, identity & access supported by Microsoft, email security, security logging (SIEM), reporting, eDiscovery and forensic investigation. IAM / Azure Experience: Must have enterprise (large environment) Azure AD experience Experience integrating applications with SSO (Azure SSO preferred) - SSO, SAML and LDAP authentication. Conditional Access and Multi Factor Authentication MFA knowledge (we use Azure MFA, OneLogin MFA, but any would suffice) Solid PowerShell Scripting experience Cloud Experience: Must have Azure Cloud experience - AWS & GCP are nice to haves Office 365 experience Cloud Certificates are a bonus Security knowledge (broad topic) but should be able to expand in several areas. Experience managing endpoints (can be servers, mobile devices, desktops/laptops - ideally all three) Legacy Experience: Windows Active Directory Networking, Storage, Database Linux administration nice to have Dev-Ops: Experience with setting up and managing self-service. Infrastructure as code, GIT Configuration management (Terraform, ansible, chef nice to have) Demonstrated understanding of overall infrastructure design and developing tools to enable and automate the infrastructure security response.
