PLease see details below and i look forward to speaking with you. Client - Major Pharmaceutical CompanyTitle - Sr Manager A/V / Sr A/V Consultant ( Audio Visual) Location Woodcliff Lake NJ( Remote for now) Duration 1 years plus possible extensions
As the Unified Workplace Manager, you will have overall responsibility for ***s AV platform including defining, architect (design) and implement enterprise communication and meeting solutions covering teleconferencing. The position hold will support VIP users during meetings, support includes video teleconferencing, video display of laptops and/or room computer presentations, etc. Some of the meetings are Off-hours, weekends so you may need to work with the VIP users to support those meetings (remotely or on-site, as needed)
This role will oversee vendor managed services performing daily checks (remotely), troubleshooting, break-fix etc. Position is responsible for working with the vendor (managed services) for any break-fix, troubleshooting and solutioning.
Maintain A/V Infrastructure (50%)
a. Lead all aspects of, provide support to, and maintain positive relationships with audio visual vendors, integrators, and partners
b. Oversee and work with managed services vendor for break fix, 24/7monitoring services (health checks), remote troubleshooting or co-ordinate onsite dispatch from vendor as needed.
c. Supervise the installation and set-up for AV equipment such as Polycom VC devices, Condeco desk and meeting room booking solutions, video displays and projectors, Mersive Wireless Presentation Interface, UC Video Conferencing system codec/camera/speakerbar/ microphones, Poly table touch panels, digital signage, connecting wires and cables, other video encoder/transcoder appliance etc.
d. Technical liaison and main onsite Manager for all AV and event productions.
e. Working with *** internal support teams on Polycom VC devices and Microsoft Teams integration e.g. Poly Real Connect for Conference and Training Rooms and Auditorium.
f. Working on Office 365 (Exchange Online) integrations for Condeco desk and meeting room booking solutions with *** support teams.
g. Working on Polycom smart boards, setup and integration and troubleshooting issues with the vendor as needed. Educating VIP users on using the smart boards during the meetings.
h. Install, configure, upgrade, support, and maintain Polycom environments as well as overall conferencing room environments
i. Logs all transactions with customers in ServiceNow and maintain service catalog
j. Conduct Trainings and runbooks for AV and perform preventive maintenance.
k. Manage Print Services.
Support VIP Users during meetings (30%)
a. Support VIP users during meetings; support includes video teleconferencing, video display of laptops and/or room computer presentations, smartboards etc.
b. Available to support meetings Off-hours, weekends remotely or onsite as needed around their AV needs.
c. Meet and consult with VIP users or executive assistants, event coordinators, project managers to discuss, plan and ultimately ensure the AV requirements for their meetings and events has met their requirements
d. Enable and support the use of mobility for voice, video and sharing of content
Project Management (20%)
a. Work with vendors to define, architect (design), and implement enterprise communication and meeting solutions covering teleconferencing and other AV solutions and integrations.
b. Oversight and coordination of development efforts with outside vendors/partners
o College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science, information science, management information systems, or business administration or a related field (or equal years of experience)
Information Technology Experience
o 8+ years of overall experience in information technology.
o Experience with standards based videoconferencing and web based conferencing solutions (Polycom, Teams, zoom)
o Experience on troubleshooting AV systems
o Experience on working with vendors and AV integrators.
o Experience on technical support to the VIP users and assisting them with meetings, including AV conference support, telephony, projectors, speakers, video display of laptops and/or room computer presentations, etc.
o Experience on Polycom VC devices, Mersive Wireless Presentation Interface, UC Video Conferencing system codec/camera/speakerbar/ microphones, Poly table touch panels, connecting wires and cables, other video encoder/transcoder appliance etc.
o Experience on room booking solutions like Condeco, EMS- Space Management Software for workplace scheduling
o Experience on Office 365 and Teams especially around integrations with Polycom VC devices and room booking solutions.
o Knowledge and experience with wireless and network infrastructure, Visitor Management (Guest Wifi Process etc.)
o Understanding of and experience with QoS, video conferencing, video streaming, firewall, Network Topology, Vlans, and VoIP systems.

o Lead all aspects of, provide support to, and maintain positive relationships with audio visual vendors, integrators, and partners
o Translate business needs into functional and practical system designs specifically as it relates to AV

o Experience in managing projects in collaboration with external partners (managed service organizations, technology vendors, and consulting companies)
o Develop innovative ideas; assist with defining the centers strategy for a broad range of audio, video, and conferencing technologies that can streamline workflows

o Excellent interpersonal communication skills, ability to network, strong personal integrity, collaborative mindset, and a strong customer focus are necessary
o Ability to organize, prioritize, and work effectively in a constantly changing environment
o Demonstrated problem solving skills, including taking ownership to ensure timely resolution, a strong sense of urgency, keen attention to detail, and the ability to plan, organize and successfully execute in an environment under time and resource pressures
Desirable Knowledge & Experience
o Prior experience with managed services vendors support for AV is highly preferred
o Prior Pharmaceutical experience is preferred
o Prior experience in designing and implementing complex, global, multi-tenant, multi-language solutions.
