What is the opportunity?. As a Senior Project Manager with RBC Wealth Management you will, plan, direct, and coordinate activities of assigned projects to ensure project goals or objectives are accomplished within approved timeframe, scope and budget. Manages projects (as part of a Program) with high level of value (benefit/cost), and a potentially high level of complexity. What will you do?: Plans and executes projects with moderate level of value (benefit/cost), and at least a high level of complexity and uncertainty including managing project scope, requirements changes, multiple and competing demands and priorities as well as determining and conveying impact on budget, time and risk using appropriate fact-based metrics / assumptions. Seeks out industry trends and organizational knowledge to understand alternative approaches and/or solutions. Facilitates joint planning with the client in the early stages of project formation including collaboration with Risk & Compliance, Legal, Information Security, and other business areas as needed. Develops integrated baseline project plans applying estimated models; documents estimating assumptions, refines plans and manages performance against them. Identifies and manages project costs and budgets anticipating operational and some tactical risks. Facilitates schedule and cost forecasting; mentors project managers in determining risk based provisions. Provides senior management with timely updates on project issues. Identifies resources and skills required. Provides superior client experience and strengthens relationships with all key stakeholders and manage cross-functional dependencies/commitments across internal and external vendor partners. What do you need to succeed?. Must-have: 5-7 years' project-related experience preferably in areas of Marketing. Experience managing projects with moderate level of value (benefit/cost), and at least a high level of complexity and uncertainty. Advanced project management knowledge including plan development; scheduling methodology; project metrics gathering, analyzing, and reporting; risk assessment and quantification methodologies; cost/benefit analysis and alternatives identification; budgeting, financials and benefits management. Advanced people management knowledge including talent management process (recruitment / selection, performance management, performance development / coaching, reward / recognition). Nice to have: 2-3 years' experience supporting several simultaneously run small to medium sized initiatives for Marketing Department in the Marketing Technology (Martech) landscape. 5 years' experience with running several simultaneous vendor partnerships.
