About The Team

The Promotions Strategy team works to make DoorDash the best app for exciting promotions that eliminate barriers for consumers allowing them to try unlimited options. You'll develop strategy to accelerate customer acquisition, retention, trial and engagement and implement targeted use of promotions as part of our marketing mix.

About The Role

As a Senior Associate, you'll manage the promotions portfolio for one of our growing departments. You'll work with business and marketing teams to design promotion campaigns and then implement them to bring your ideas to life. You'll work over time to improve promotion efficiency, contribute to the product strategy, and develop best practices. You will accelerate DoorDash growth into new markets, increase customer stickiness and acquire new consumers and enforce Promotions Strategy as part of DoorDash's overall success.

You will report to the Senior Manager, Promotions Strategy on our Growth Marketing team in our Marketing organization.

  • Find insights from large sets of data to guide strategy, forecasting and use of large promotions budget
  • Contribute to the next stage of DoorDash growth by accelerating our move into new spaces such as Grocery and Convenience
  • Solve one of the company's hardest challenges: consumer acquisition, engagement, and retention
  • Work with complex data sets to develop strategic, analysis backed consumer pricing and promotions plans
We're Excited About You Because You Have…
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent working experience and 2+ years of experience in finance/management consulting, business operations, growth marketing/marketing analytics, or business analytics
  • Advanced Excel skills (can perform complex functions)
  • Knowledge of SQL and dashboarding tools (e.g. Tableau)
  • The desire to dig into details of large datasets to identify applicable strategies and have translated data into applicable insights for partners in the past
  • Experience working collaboratively with others to improve outcomes that achieve our team's goals
