This position will not be location specific and can be performed virtually.
Additionally, these positions can be hired at a Level 2 or Level 3 (Principal) based on the individual's years of experience and education. The Scrum Master will provide oversight of the Agile framework to ensure operational excellence in product deliveries. Provides guidance and helps educate the team in Scrum, Extreme Programming (XP), Kanban, and Scaled Agile framework (SAFe), ensuring that the Agile process is being followed. Helps remove impediments and fosters an environment for high-performing team dynamics, continuous flow, and relentless improvement. Roles and Responsibilities include:
• Support and enforce the Agile methodology and SAFe framework used by the project team
• Fulfill the role of the Scrum Master, leading Agile development teams in the delivery of business critical, enterprise software development projects to our production systems
o Identify and remove impediments
o Organize and facilitate project planning, daily stand up meetings, reviews, retrospectives, sprint and release planning, demos and other meetings
o Track and communicate Agile metrics which may include team velocity and sprint/Program Increment (PI) progress within the Scaled Agile (SAFe) framework
o Ensure the Scrum Framework is implemented effectively and provides coaching and training at the team level to maximize its benefits
o Support the Product Owner
o Assist with product backlog maintenance
o Assist with internal and external communication to improve transparency
o Be a Servant Leader for the Agile Development (Scrum) Team
o Assist with making appropriate commitments to deliver business value through story selection, definition of tasks and estimation
o Facilitate team discussion and conflict resolution
o Help the team to learn from experience
o Empower the team to self-organize
o Provide support with risk management, release management, and facilitate release planning activities
• Works with the Agile teams and Solution Architecture Team to determine the best approach ensure the overall software architecture supports the project Concept of Operations
• Supports all Agile teams to ensure effective end-to-end capability threads are being implemented
• Participate proactively in developing and maintaining standards, tools and best practices
• Adopt a positive attitude about Agile processes, ensure tasks are flowing from one phase to the next, facilitate the basics of the process (i.e. transparency, project information is current, impediments are being eliminated)
• Analyze and articulate complex subject matter via white papers and presentations, enabling the ease of comprehension by customers and all stakeholders.
• Maintain an in-depth knowledge of customer's lifecycles, standards, and supporting processes and practices

Basic Qualifications Level 2:
Candidates must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
• 2+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree; 0 Years with Masters(Appropriate combination of years of experience and education will be considered in lieu of the 4 year degree requirement)• Experience in Software Development, Integration, or other IT related projects
• Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
• Must have experience in communicating with various levels of leaderships
• Must be a US Citizen
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret level security clearance or higher
Basic Qualifications Level 3:

Candidates must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:

• Works with the Agile teams and Solution Architecture Team to determine the best approach ensure the overall software architecture supports the project Concept of Operations
• Supports all Agile teams to ensure effective end-to-end capability threads are being implemented
• Participate proactively in developing and maintaining standards, tools and best practices
• Adopt a positive attitude about Agile processes, ensure tasks are flowing from one phase to the next, facilitate the basics of the process (i.e. transparency, project information is current, impediments are being eliminated)
• Analyze and articulate complex subject matter via white papers and presentations, enabling the ease of comprehension by customers and all stakeholders.
• Maintain an in-depth knowledge of customer's lifecycles, standards, and supporting processes and practices

Basic Qualifications Level 2:
Candidates must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
• 2+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree; 0 Years with Masters(Appropriate combination of years of experience and education will be considered in lieu of the 4 year degree requirement)• Experience in Software Development, Integration, or other IT related projects
• Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
• Must have experience in communicating with various levels of leaderships
• Must be a US Citizen
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret level security clearance or higher
Basic Qualifications Level 3:

Candidates must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:

• 5+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree; At least 3 years with a Master's degree(Appropriate combination of years of experience and education will be considered in lieu of the 4 year degree requirement)
• Experience in Software Development, Integration, or other IT related projects
• Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
• Must have experience in communicating with various levels of leaderships
• Must be a US Citizen
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret level security clearance or higher

Preferred Qualifications:

Candidates with these skills will be given preferential consideration.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Scrum Master on a Scrum team
• Minimum of 1 year of experience teaching others how to become Agile
• Scrum Master Certification: Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) or SAFe Scrum Master (SSM)Scaled Agile Framework experience; working as a part of an Agile Development (Scrum) Team
• SAFe Program Consultant (SPC)
• Experience using tools that support agile development, and especially SAFe, such as Azure DevOps, JIRA and Confluence, and CA Rally
• Experience with any of the following: scrum project management, agile software development, and software version control management
• Experience with traditional project management skills: managing budget, scheduling, estimating, etc…
• Agile development experience implementing systems
• Experience with multiple Agile teams in different organizations
• Ability to understand technical legacy systems and associated component functionalities.

Salary Minimum: $92,000.00
Salary Maximum: $138,000.00

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
