Under the direction of the Director, University Relations, the School Resources Specialist will be responsible for the planning and execution of PDS University dental, hygiene, and specialty events. The Specialist will market the organization as an employer of choice and support the clinicians and other presenters at University Relations events and engagements. The School Resources Specialist will plan, monitor, project-manage, and report on events.
Manages plans and executes University Relations events, including but not limited to preparing presentation materials, overseeing the event and school budget, and support the team in coordinating event speakers.
Collaborates with the Director, University Relations, as a liaison between the UR team and marketing to support them in executing marketing and sourcing strategies to develop further and grow the PDS brand, including publishing brochures and newsletters.
Develops and updates surveys for participants of University Relations events. Analyzes and summarizes survey data and trends for continuous improvement.
Prepares, edits, and reviews PowerPoint presentations and speaker materials for events. Coordinates directly with presenters for approval of the final presentation.
Oversees travel logistics for clinicians and other presenters to ASDA and other University Relations events.
Act as a brand ambassador at hygiene or dental schools and events by managing internal and external relationships with target programs, key faculty, professors, administration, student organizations, and local associations, as well as hiring managers and other key stakeholders in the designated markets.
Creates biographies for speakers at University Relations events.
Acts as a representative of the department in communicating and collaborating with other departments.
Support long-term strategies to promote the company brand and drive strategic functional hiring trends that align with company growth initiatives
Other duties as assigned by management.
Bachelor's Degree in Communications or related field, In lieu of degree, 6+ years of relevant work experience.
3+ years of related work experience.
Proficient knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, software applications, and use of standard office equipment.
Experience in managing events
Experience in a multi-regional healthcare, retail or Dental company
Experience with iCIMS
Experience with Survey Monkey
