The Mom Project is excited to partner with our client, a financial technology firm looking for a qualified ReactJS Engineer who loves building software to help establish the direction of new and exciting greenfield projects. Their products live in the cloud on Amazon Web Services and favor modular code and microservice-based architecture and patterns. This position reports directly to the VP of Engineering.
This role is based out of our client's Minneapolis office, requiring working in the office 50% of the week post-pandemic. Our client is very flexible in terms of scheduling - schedule can be decided upon based on mutual needs. Relocation Package Available.
In this role, you will:
Primarily focus on a new greenfield project of building an entire loan origination system from the ground up.
Build UIs with direct impact to customers' and support representatives' experience.
Work with vendor APIs and delivery services that support critical operational and analytical applications.
Build robust tools that are used by internal business operations, stakeholders, and analysts.
Continuously integrate and ship code into cloud production environments to manage platform.
Work directly with product managers and architects to deliver quality features in a collaborative and agile environment
Identify and influence the solution to complex technical issues.
Build prototype and POC's to promote new technologies and processes
3+ years of ReactJS experience
GraphQL (Hasura, or similar framework) experience a plus
Deep proficiency developing cross-browser and mobile applications (non-native)
Proven experience building and deploying scalable apps using modern cloud platform technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, EKS)
Exposure to relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., Couchbase, MySQL, PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch)
Proficient in test driven development (TDD) and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices
Experience with SDLC methodologies, such as Agile and Kanban
Knowledge of federal lending regulations a plus
Location and Travel
Total travel should flex between 10% and 30% per month under post-pandemic circumstances
