Since 1963, The DePaul Management Company has designed, built, and currently manages, several shopping centers, commercial office buildings, and 17 apartment communities consisting of approximately 5,000 units.

Currently, we are searching for an experienced Property Manager to join our team in Northeast Philadelphia.

Responsibilities include:
  • Manage apartment community in Northeast Philadelphia
  • Create and implement a marketing campaign
  • Rent collection including: calls, letters, court filings, etc.
  • Supervise staff
  • Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly reports
  • Inspect all ready units and periodic inspection of occupied apartments and grounds
  • Bid collection, negotiate contracts with vendors, invoice approval, purchase of supplies and materials
  • Work with regional manager to prepare annual operating budget and marketing of apartment community
  • Act as the company representative with all court proceedings
  • Create and Maintain move in/out calendar
  • Handle on-site emergencies if necessary
  • Maintain good resident relations
  • Maintain compliance for: annual permits, licenses and building codes
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in property management of a residential complex
  • Knowledge of Office 365 and Property Management Software
  • Prior experience in establishing and executing a budget
  • Solid Marketing skills and the ability to establish leads
  • Established collection methods
  • Knowledge of compliance issues in regard to property management
  • Excellent and proven leadership skills
  • The ability to assess situations with employees and current/potential clients and determine best course of action to be taken
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated Leasing results
