Representative Duties and Tasks:

The Program Manager responsibilities include:

- Manage and provide overall leadership and guidance to projects:

  • Primary interface to customer on funded engineering, production, and sustainment efforts
  • Ensure all customer requirements are met
  • Establish and work to schedules and budgets in collaboration with Engineering and Production
  • Track and report performance
  • Address risks and impediments to progress
  • Review and provide feedback on customer and project documents

- New business pursuit

  • Interface with customers regarding new and follow-on opportunities
  • Manage and contribute to proposal efforts
  • Negotiate funding, statements of work, etc. for new contracts

- Continual process improvement

  • Identify shortcomings, issues, and potential improvements throughout the organization
. Requirements:

Education and Experience:

A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related discipline with 7+ years of Program Management experience is required. Experience managing government contracts in both engineering development and electronics manufacturing environments is highly preferred.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong communication skills - written & verbal
  • Highly skilled at planning and executing projects/programs
  • Proficiency with Microsoft applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project
  • Advanced problem-solving skills
  • Strong leadership and collaboration
  • Familiarity with FARs and DFARs clause
  • Familiarity with design and production of electronic components and assemblies
  • Ability to thrive in cross-functional teams
