The Production Maintenance Supervisor is responsible to coordinate the day-to-day activities of maintenance workers to ensure that production equipment, machinery, or instruments function reliably and safely and that facilities, buildings, and plant are in good working order. Monitor workers responsible for the maintenance of production equipment and related systems. Assist with root cause analysis of equipment failures and implement fixes. Ensure equipment integrity and timely repair with a focus on decreasing production downtime. Analyze problems and interpret technical information necessary to make required repairs (troubleshooting of equipment issues). Responsibilities also include maintenance of buildings and management of janitorial personnel.

  • Production Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for uptime and production throughput by implementing proven professional maintenance and reliability improvement processes.
  • Oversee activities of maintenance department. Review and approve preventative maintenance documents.
  • Maintain preventive/predictive maintenance programs (including failure and root cause analysis).
  • Compliance with all company policies and procedures.
  • Service and repair equipment on a continual basis.
  • Adhere to established maintenance schedules.
  • Maintain safe work environment.
  • Select, supervise, and provide professional development to maintenance personnel.
  • Coordinate operation, maintenance, and repair activities to obtain optimum utilization of machines and equipment.
  • Ensure all equipment and building maintainance and operational are up to company standards.
  • Ensure responsive and proactive maintenance support to all plant personnel.
  • Ensure service calls and machinery repairs are completed in a timely manner.
  • Assist and support mechanics with machine trouble shooting and technical expertise.
  • Coordinate desk arrangements for new hires, moves, leaves.
  • Update and maintain floorplans and occupancy records for each property location.
  • Plan, organize, supervise, coordinate, and control the activities of the building operations and maintenance functions which are necessary in maintaining the physical structures, H.V.A.C., mechanical, electrical systems, utilities, and grounds in a safe and optimized condition.

Production Maintenance Supervisor Required Skills and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED; College/Technical Degree preferred.
  • 2+ years supervisory experience.
  • 2+ years manufacturing/operations maintenance experience.
  • 2+ years of facilities experience
  • Ability to manage multiple projects of varying priorities simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated and disciplined team player.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Must be a Team Oriented Person
  • Sound organizational skills.
  • Ability to creatively solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in MS Office suite applications.
  • Detail-oriented, conscientious and able to work independently.
  • Proven ability to multi-task effectively and produce accurate, timely results in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
  • Consistently demonstrate a positive approach and professional demeanor.
  • Ability to handle exposure to all temperature changes, high noise levels, and safely working around moving equipment. Occasional lifting up to 50lbs.
