Douglas County Appraiser's Office is accepting applications for a full time Personal Property Appraiser position. Personal Property Appraiser is responsible for personal property records and appraisals.
This position maintains and updates filing, inventory, mailings such as personal property renditions, and database systems, either manually or using a computer; Communicates with customers, employees, and other individuals to answer questions, disseminate or explain information, process requests for information, and address complaints; determines personal property appraisal value using State prescribed guides and/or schedules provided by the County Appraiser.
Required qualifications include a high school diploma or G.E.D, good record keeping skills, math and computer skills, and excellent public relations skills.
