Job Title: Manager, Platform Engineering. Location: New York, NY. Job Duties: ADP Technology Services, Inc. seeks a Manager, Platform Engineering at our New York, New York location. Responsibilities: Apply microservices architecture concepts and best practices to assist in the delivery of technical products and solutions. Work with product managers, architects and engineers to plan, design, develop, test, and implement information technology solutions consistent with business objectives. Manage the delivery and the overall design of technical products. Optimize performance tuning and scale cloud-based software solutions. Integrate software designs into larger ecosystems and develop definitions for implementation and test procedures. Develop service-specific roadmaps for the development and implementation of software solutions. Identify risks and break down barriers to the software development process. Education & Experience Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field plus six (6) years of related experience. Employer will accept a master's degree and three (3) years of related experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree and six (6) years of experience. Work Experience: Two (2) years of experience must include: NodeJS, C#, Java, Scala or Go; RDBMS or NoSQL DB; Kafka; Git; AWS services; Performance tools, including Gatling, JMeter or AB; Micro-services architecture; Distributed systems and patterns; and Agile software development methodologies. #DNS.
