Northrop Grumman's Huntsville Alabama production facility is looking for an experienced material handling logistician to lead a small team in delivering manufactured end items to government customer according to contractual and DoD guidelines and specifications. Candidate will coordinate between manufacturing, Program and Customer organizations using a variety of applications, and documentation to insure requirements are appropriately accounted for, controlled and tracked to the ultimate delivery point General tasks include: Maintain schedule of upcoming delivery requirements across multiple contracts to multiple customers. Manage small team to insure all tasks are planned for and performed against Maintain records of performance and metrics to insure continuous improvement Completing Internal Manufacturing Operations tasks within SAP Scheduling with program and government customers' inspection, inventory and shipment activities. Transposing data into Government logistical database such as COLTS, to support WAWF DD250, DoD DD1149 transfers and DA2062 documented accountability records. Packaging and scheduling the physical shipment and transportation activities to insure Product is delivered according to Contract definition, DoD and DoT guidelines and processes. Heavy use of Web based Microsoft office applications. Advanced sills in Excel a big plus. Analyze technical data and support equipment provisioning requirements. Reviews Manages and controls the asset position of customer inventories. May originate support plans to potential customers and provide technical assistance to existing customer personnel.
Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) and at least 7 years of applied experience. Will consider 3 years of applied experience with Bachelor's Degree or equivalent technical degree.
