Our client is looking for an IT Audit Manager for a consulting firm in Chicago. This IT Audit professional can be based out of Chicago, or other major metros with clients across the country.
As the IT Audit Manager you will be working with financial services clients across the country consulting them on the IT Audit and IT Controls process. The ideal candidate will have proven professional experience working in internal audit, consulting, assurance services, controls, risk management, compliance or related field, either in professional services or industry.
Technical Background Required:
•Relevant Professional Certification such as CISA, CISSP, CISM, CIA or similar strongly preferred.
•An in-depth understanding of IT audit methodologies, concepts, tools and objectives.
•Knowledge and interest in technology including topics such as cloud (and related technology delivery models), operating systems, database platforms, productivity software, and business/ERP applications.
•Understanding of commonly used internal control frameworks, including COBIT, ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ITIL, etc.
•Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley Act provisions and methodologies for achieving compliance, in particular the technology implications and requirements.
•Supervisory experience of teams including mentoring / coaching, oversight and review of work, coordination across teams, and understanding how to motivate.
•Experience working with financial services/banking institutions
