Why You'llLove This Job: Being a member of the Internal Audit Team means you will be part of a diverse and collaborative team. The Internal Audit Manager position has direct oversight of the quality assurance work being conducted by their team, that can include acting as the Auditor-in-Charge on more complex reviews. Audit Managers have supervisory responsibility for one or more employees. The Internal Audit Manager will manage the team's various responsibilities relating to audit methodology, quality assurance improvement program, learning & talent management and department communications. YourPrimaryResponsibilities: Strategic Control Impact: Identifies emerging and top risks. Develops & nurtures strong relationships with their business partners. Monitors the progress of action plan portfolio and their completion in remediating control issues. Works with the business to generate innovative solutions to mitigate risk and enhance controls. Understands how the various components of the company fit together. Audit Execution: Instrumental in clearing audit reports through effective communication with auditees. Executes multiple audits with the support of staff members which assess the design adequacy and operating effectiveness of control processes under review. Assists their Team Leader in completing the annual plan on time and within the allocated budget. Facilitates a fluid audit plan based on changes in risks or business need. Manages audit lifecycle and communicates any potential exceptions in meeting timelines or budgets. Coordinates risk-based annual planning for their area of focus. Effectively negotiates and employs tactics for persuading colleagues. Quality Process: Oversees audit execution to ensure strong compliance with our policies and procedures, as evidenced by good QA results and strong performance within standards and related metrics. Reinforces staff compliance with IAD policies and procedures. Works with IAD leadership and Audit Practices to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of Internal Audit: Individual and Team Development: Communicates clear expectations to the team, motivating them to deliver high quality work. Ensures that new hires are properly trained and prepared to execute their responsibilities. Ensures that team members are informed and knowledgeable about changes in policies and practices of key importance. Maintains effective working relationships with IAD peers. Responsible for coaching & developing their employees. Mitigates risk by following established procedures and monitoring controls, spotting key errors and demonstrating strong ethical behavior. **NOTE:The PrimaryResponsibilities of this role are not limited to the details above. **. Talents NeededForSuccess: Minimum of 7 years of related experience. A bachelor's degree is required, preferably with a technology-related major. Certifications related to the candidate's coverage responsibilities are beneficial, but not required, such as Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). Capable of identifying, assessing and advising on risks for large-scale technology projects, IT general controls and completing IT process audits (e.g., SDLC, Change Management, Logical Security, Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery and Incident/Problem Monitoring). Proficiency in auditing infrastructure components is a plus (e.g., Mainframe, Unix/Linux, Windows). We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
