Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking an ICBM Operations Training Subject Matter Expert (SME). This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) Training Systems Team (TST) Training & Mission Integration Integrated Product Team (IPT). What You'll Get To Do:
Provide support to senior GBSD operations training SME and Mission Integration Program Manager by leading multiple cross-functional project teams engaged in the design, implementation and production of operations Training Devices. Author end-user requirements for training devices, software and course content. Prepares execution plan and identifies appropriate technical and business resources needed for each assigned project. Ensures Training Devices meet war fighter needs for initial and recurring operations training and compliance with weapon system fidelity and endure-ability requirements. Support development of specifications, design, interface control and production of training systems including courseware and devices. Ensure operations Training Device interoperability with maintenance, cyber and security forces training devices, including physical/electronic security systems and cryptographic protections for mission data. Recommend approaches for maintenance functions relevant to Integrated Command Center (ICC) training and mission rehearsal activities. Maintain currency with Flight Systems, Command & Launch, Support Equipment and Transportation/Handling system designs and flows design changes to internal and subcontracted development teams. Provide technical and analytical guidance to the agile development teams. Assist and refines facilities requirements analysis concurrent with weapon system maturity. Identify maintenance tasks feeding Mission Task Analysis Report (MTAR) and Training Systems Requirements Analysis (TSRA) activities. Review and approve training curriculum and content for internal developers.

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
You'll Bring These Qualifications: Extensive expertise with AFGSC and AETC operations training policy for Officer Air Force Specialty Codes (AFSCs). Understanding of MMIII training facilities, devices, and courseware with a depth of experience with Minuteman Launch Control Centers and support infrastructure. Knowledge of physical and electronic protection systems for Minuteman III weapon system. Field experience as a Missile Combat Crew member. Familiarity with AFGSC and AETC standardization & evaluation processes. Depth of expertise working with training systems, simulators, instruction in classroom and interactive environments. Experience planning and implementing training and evaluation programs. Current Top Secret clearance with current SCI eligibility. These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have: Graduate of the ICBM Weapons Instructor Course (WIC). Recent experience (within last 5 years is preferred). Experience applying new advanced learning technologies, methods, processes and tools at Initial Skills Training (IST) and recurring/proficiency training levels for experienced operations personnel. Experience planning and implementing training programs for weapons systems. Training curriculum and learning management planning experience. Instructor/evaluator experience preferred. Experience with Minuteman III Wing Operations Center standup applicable to the GBSD Integrated Command Center (ICC) CONOPS. AETC instructor certification. Knowledge of both AFGSC and AETC approaches to ICBM operations training.
