Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a VAFB Flight Test Operations/Maintenance Program Manager 2 . This position will be located at Vandernberg AFB, and will support the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. Learn more about the GBSD program here. What You'll Get To Do: Lead the GBSD Flight Test Operations and Maintenance team in support of GBSD Developmental and Initial Operational Test & Evaluation (IOT&E) at VAFB, CA. Reports to GBSD Flight Test Program Manager. Manage test infrastructure renovation and facilities maintenance to include contractor oversight, coordination with Global Supply Chain (GSC) Contracting Officers, Security, Information Technology (IT), Program Integration Team (PIT), Infrastructure & Deployment Team, and other GBSD Integrated Product Teams, as needed. Coordinate with 30th SW Range Safety, 30th Civil Engineering Squadron, 30th Communications Squadron, and other 30th SW agencies, as needed.

Responsible for standup, operations, and maintenance of the test facilities to include oversight of design and renovation/construction, ensuring security, IT, test network operations, cyber, and test requirements are established. Responsible for Missile Maintenance Generation, Munitions, Missile Transport and Emplacement, Operating the Test Site Operations Center. Responsible for vehicles (large and small), fueling, supplies, Line Replacement Unit (LRU) maintenance and spares, and support to warehouse operations and Logistics. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. Travel is expected to be approx. 10%

Basic Qualifications:
Minimum of a Bachelor's of Science in STEM
7 years of related experience with Bachelor's; 5 years with Master's; 3 years with PhD
2 years of ICBM Flight Test experience
2 years of Facilities Construction/Sustainment
2 years of Weapon System Development/Sustainment
2 years of ICBM Missile Maintenance
Preferred Qualifications:
Ideal candidate will have lead large ICBM Maintenance Teams of varying disciplines
Familiar with Launch Facility Refurbishment
Demonstrated experience interfacing with Air Force, Contractor management, AFCEC, Base Civil Engineering, and USCoE for MILCON
Understands requirements decomposition to task level, and has the ability to translate missile system requirement analysis into facility requirements
Special experience: Served as part of SATAF, conducting construction surveillance of critical system interfaces
Knowledgeable of NEPA
Experience with logistics and goods movement, large vehicle operations/maintenance and missile convoy operations
Experience with leading missile operations center
Proficient with Microsoft suite, including Project and Visio
