Robert Half Management Resources is currently recruiting for a Power BI consultant with strong modeling background to assist with a long term project in OC.
•Develop three statement financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives
•Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes
•Assist Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) in building projections and forecast models for short and longer term financial planning.
•Analyze metrics and provide recommendations for achieving targets.
•Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance
•Prepare financial and business related analysis and research in such areas as financial and expense performance, rate of return, depreciation, working capital, and investments.
•Identify exceptions and analyze trends in revenue, expense, capital expenditures and other related areas.
•Utilizing PC and/or server based systems and software; compiles and prepares reports, graphs and charts of data developed.
•Assist with compilation and analysis of consolidated budgets and long range plans.
•Supports the ongoing development of Financial Reporting, Budgeting, Forecasting, Operating Plan and Modeling tools including Host Analytics and Power BI
•Ad-Hoc Reporting and Analysis
•Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field of study (Finance or Accounting preferred).
•5+ years relevant work experience in financial forecasting, reporting, and analysis.
•Experience with Planning, Reporting, BI and visualization systems required; Host Analytics and Power BI preferred
•CFP certification preferred
•Advanced excel modeling skills required
•Excellent analytical skills.
