JOB REQUISITION Event Production Manager LOCATION SAN RAMON JOB DESCRIPTION Robert Half is seeking an Event Production Manager to manage and coordinate virtual events as well as in-person large-scale events that require production at all levels of the organization, including executive keynote events. The role is responsible for the successful management and partnership with cross-functional teams to define, scope, plan, execute and deliver seamless and engaging events. This role will also decide on technology, format, creative and messaging for virtual events.Specific responsibilities include: Virtual Event and Broadcast Production DeliveryLeads virtual events, extended and remote teams, coaches senior executives, identifying business requirements, aligning virtual event platform capabilities to strategic goals, attendee engagement best practices, UX and UI best practices. Manage and coordinate virtual events as well as in-person large-scale events that require production at all levels of the organization, including executive keynote events. They will be responsible for the successful management and partnering with cross-functional teams to define, scope, plan, execute and deliver seamless and engaging events.. . Communication & CollaborationLeads and partners on productions to ensure flawless delivery of internal programs with a cross-functional team including marketing, communications, media services, meetings, and external production vendors. Collaborates and partners with in-house Media Services team on content and production logistics. The EPM will build and maintain excellent working relationships with all stakeholders. This position will partner with key stakeholders to develop a complete understanding of the objectives, messaging, priorities, and key issues for our audience. Work in collaboration to develop the content architecture, storylines, and creative messaging for key programs with executive communications teams. Work with meetings, corporate communications, and other departments in the selection of vendors and with support and management of any onsite logistics. Responsible for coordinating with North American corporate services teams and partnering with global corporate teams. . Project ManagementThis position will manage multiple projects and events that support all areas of the organization. They will create a tracking method to capture milestones and adjust project plans and or resources to meet the needs of the event/customer. Quick results and ability to multi-task and stay ahead of deadlines is a must.. . Decision MakingMakes decisions independently and is responsible for deciding on technology, format, creative and messaging for virtual events. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent industry experience. 6+ years of leading live event production, with experience delivering corporate keynotes. Excellent written and oral communication skills with an ability to lead, influence, create visibility, and motivate others. 6+ years of leading live event production, with experience delivering corporate keynotes. 3+ years of leading the ideation and execution of innovative, multi-faceted digital experiences as a means of educating, engaging, and inspiring global audiences. Hands on experience with virtual event platforms, event registration systems, analytics tools, and project management software. Keen understanding of the requirements of digital program production, and sufficient technical knowledge to foresee and address production and broadcast issues. Adept at vendor management and project communication, guiding and making decisions while adhering to event budgets. Strong virtual event and broadcast production experience delivering content in compelling new formats, as well as experience successfully producing live event keynotes and presentations. Be well versed in leading virtual events, leading extended and remote teams, coaching senior executives, identifying business requirements, aligning virtual event platform capabilities to strategic goals, attendee engagement best practices, UX and UI best practices. This position will also require strong live or on-site event production experience. Experience with multiple live event formats for large (500+) audiences.
