Responsibilities

The DoD Financial Management Analyst supports Audit Response and Sustainment and includes:
  • Documenting and updating standard operating procedures and process narratives
  • Preparing and executing tests of internal controls over financial reporting and financial systems
  • Assessing service provider System and Organization (SOC) reports
  • Implementing complementary user entity controls (CUECs)
  • Developing and facilitating the implementation of corrective action plans
Qualifications

Required

Clearance
  • Active SECRET clearance
Minimum Education/Certification
  • Bachelors degree in the field(s) of Business, Accounting
Professional Experience
  • 5 years of experience in financial statement audit and accounting MUST have some financial statement audit experience
Desired
  • Experience in DoD financial management, DoD Program, Planning, Budget and Execution (PPBE)
  • DESIRED certifications: Certified Public Accountant; Certified Defense Financial Manager, Certified Government Financial Manager; DoD Financial Management Certification
