As the Director of Finance, you will be responsible for ensuring all financial related activities performed within the subsidiary are in accordance with business objectives, budget guidelines, safety standards, and follow GAAP and SOX practices and procedures. To succeed in this role, you will need the ability to create and monitor the company's accounting and finance operations. Based in the South Jersey area, this Director of Finance position is a terrific opportunity for full-time employment.Major responsibilities• Provides oversight and direction for the Finance Division, to include: Budgeting, Financial Close, Financial Planning & Analysis, Accounts Payable, Payroll, Cage/Credit/Collections/Marker Operations, Casino and Hotel Finance and Count Team, Workforce Management, Cashiering, Warehouse/Receiving/Inventory Control, Compliance, enforcing accounting and control policies and procedures, and Internal Controls & Fraud Detection.• Owns all aspects of property level financial statements and associated processes that ensure financials are properly and accurately stated in accordance with company policies and procedures, and in compliance with GAAP, SOX, gaming, and other regulatory and internal control requirements.RequirementsThe ideal Director of Finance candidate should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education.Other requirements for the Director of Finance position include and are not limited to:• 8++ years of finance experience.• 6++ years of finance leadership experience.• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent.• Previous experience in a casino environment with high limit gaming, significant marker operations and luxury amenities.• Previous experience working in a resort style setting.• Prior experience with MAS 500, SWS, FAS, UltiPro, PayCom, or other enterprise level accounting platforms.Interested candidates should reach out to Zed Koleilat at and reference JO#03622924Robert Half Finance & Accounting matches skilled finance and accounting professionals in the areas of accounting, bookkeeping, finance, audit, taxation and more on a full-time basis.
