Whitestone is looking for an experienced Property Manager with both perseverance and dedication, as well as a strong work ethic, self-starter mentality, strong execution and the willingness to take on the rewarding responsibility of a high end, Class A mixed use center in the Galleria area of Houston, TX.



Job Requirements:

Responsibilities:

  • Quickly and professionally address issues with tenants or the property ensuring there is constant communication with the tenant on their business needs;
  • Maintain and manage the property to its highest level that reflects a pride in ownership and management of the center;
  • Continually enhance the customer experience and ensure any client needs are immediately handled and expectations are consistently met;
  • Build effective relationships with clients on multiple levels to retain and continuously improve our business relationships
  • Coordinate and implement approved valued added business plans, collaborating with key stakeholders for property events;
  • Effectively manage multiple vendor relationships in regards to maintenance, client and building improvement projects;
  • Oversee and coordinate move-ins and move-out processes with tenants; supervising that all items are completed such as rekeying spaces, utility companies changed, cleaned spaces, and a completed inventory list;
  • Perform night and weekend inspections and visits to the property;
  • Manage P&L and partner with the accounting department regarding budget preparation, CAM reconciliation and vendor invoices; and
  • Promptly respond to clients' needs ensuring that services provided they follow Company policies, procedures and regulations.

Skills and Education:

  • 5+ Years of experience in Class A mixed use center (retail and office combined)
  • Bachelor's degree required;
  • Effective vendor management skills;
  • Strong organizational skills and sense of urgency;
  • Outstanding customer service skills;
  • Highly motivated and dependable person;
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.) and Yardi;
  • Strong written and excellent communication skills.
