This is a remote position and can be based anywhere within the United States.How can you make an impact? The Business Analyst is responsible for the sales and financial reporting of the Higher Ed division. In this role, you'll expand and improve current reports by translating stakeholders' requirements into report deliverables, drive requirement gathering, design, automation, testing and deployment of key reports for all parts of the division. You'll offer insights by summarizing key findings and insight from data analyzed and provide recommendations for next steps. This role is also responsible for supporting overall improvements in data architecture and reporting.What you will be doing: - Extract and manage large amounts of data in multiple formats into core sales and leadership reports. - Conduct analyses on datasets and effectively communicate findings, making recommendations to peers and leadership.- Translate stakeholders' requirements into report deliverables, coordinate with multiple stakeholders to drive the requirement gathering, design, automation, testing and deployment of key reports for all parts of the division.- Create and define best practices for documentation of all key reporting, including identification of control processes and following appropriate change control processes.We're looking for someone with: • Bachelor's degree in business, computer science or other relevant field. • Minimum 4 years' experience in analytics role or sales operations team. • Expertise with SQL, VBA, and ELT reporting tools, SharePoint and Alteryx.- Experience working with Tableau, Oracle applications and Salesforce.com .- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. • Team player who is a self-starter and feels comfortable working in a highly collaborative, cross-functional environment, demonstrating an open-mind and a critical eye for details. • Ability to adapt within a fast-paced and constantly changing environment.
