The Programmer Analyst will join the Application Development team and provide development support for ERP applications. The Programmer Analyst will gather requirements, create development specifications, and develop and implement the solution. The Programmer Analyst should have a strong background in C# and Microsoft SQL technologies and should have experience enhancing and customizing ERP systems.


  • Comply with Boral Safety Policies and Procedures
  • Work closely with the business to determine application-related solutions and the delivery of effective outputs
  • Identify and prioritize analytical gaps between the current state and industry best practices; propose and implement quick wins to demonstrate competency and generate immediate business value
  • Execute methodology development and implementation of models leveraging recent advances and technology, and incorporating signals from broader customer and industry activities
  • Actively engage with the business partners to fully understand business requirements and feasibility, devise approaches and implement solutions via appropriate models and analyses
  • Understand the data architecture and strategy requirements and scale of the data that is required for the enterprise
  • Understand the complexities and intricacies of multiple departments and stakeholders as well as ensure that the proposed solutions would work satisfactorily across the entire enterprise

  • Maintain steady communication with IT, analytical staff, business partners and leadership on all programs
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned


  • Minimum 4 years creating application development solutions within assign ERP application(s).
  • Proven ability in applying theoretical knowledge to practical applications, data analysis, algorithmic prototyping, and data visualization
  • Strong quantitative modeling skills


  • Bachelor's degree required; prefer degree is in Information Technology, Operations Research, Mathematics, or Statistics field of study
  • Appropriate Certifications considered a plus
