Our client is looking for a high-level Billing Specialist with experience in the construction industry. We need someone who is a problem solver. Someone with a great attitude, excellent communication skills, and analytical.

Salary/Pay Rate- $22-25/ hour $45-55K when Perm, depending upon experience
Duration-Contract to Perm

Required Skillset:

  • Must have- 3+ years (recent) construction billing (AIA, large T&M, GMP, fixed price/lump sum).
  • Someone with basic knowledge of job cost (material, labor, equipment, subs) and familiar with reconciling monthly costs to billings.
  • Advanced Excel skills (Pivot tables, V-lookups, etc.) a must.
  • Extreme attention to detail.
  • Heavy reconciliation skills.
  • Focused to meet crucial deadlines.
  • Heavy billing and analysis (construction, AIA, cost-plus, GMP).
  • Monitor, trace and correct billing errors.
  • Enjoys working in a team environment.
  • Efficient time management skills.
  • Prepare weekly man hour reports, labor hour reports, and run job cost reports.
  • Enjoys working in fast pace environment and managing multiple priorities.
  • Prepare and manage detailed client invoices (with cost backup).
  • Able to work a little overtime when necessary or requested (minimal weekends). On average 42-45 hrs. per week.
  • Previous work experience as outlined above required (2-3years recent minimum).
  • Cost Accounting or Manufacturing / Construction(preferred) background.
  • Associate Degree and/or Bachelor's Accounting Degree preferred.
  • Specific software proficiency with Dexter-Chaney (Viewpoint) Spectrum a huge plus.
  • Google Sheets experience and file version control.
