A well established, reputable farm management and real estate business is seeking an administrative assistant/bookkeeper position for our small office in Freeburg. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, posess good communication skills, both oral and written, and be proficient in Quickbooks. A background in agriculture or property management is a plus but not requred. Typical day includes tracking taxes, insurance, and rents due. Reconciling bank statements, processing invoices and preparing deposits along with taking recurring and transactional fees associated with the business. This is a permanant part-time blue jean position working 12-18 hours a week in a relaxed and flexible work environment. Pay is competitive and negotiable depending on experience.
The right candidate may work themselves into a position to ultimately secure a management or potentially ownership role in the business. This would include traveling to clients properlties for inspections, seeking out new properties, negotiating land purchases, sales, and leases.
